Pretty much the last of my New York photos I am going to inflict on you.......I have plenty more but will use them sometime as a filler when I have nothing else.
This photo was taken on our first venture into NY on the way back from our Central Park walk on the first afternoon.
Books for sake on either side of the pavement or should I say sidewalk....it was too cold to browse much but I expect there is good trade when the weather is better.
Three good things:
1. A real Spring like day at last.
2. I almost felt like doing a bit of gardening!
3. Quite looking forward to tonight's election debate.
Great photo - what a fab place to wander if it had been warmer.
Lovely day here too and school finished for the holidays so that is a good feeling.........and I went straight out into the garden and did some serious pruning to a weeping laburnum that has been too overgrown for too long! Yesterday we had snow!!!
Yes a lovely day here too - and I actually planted my potatoes on the allotment! Traditionally Good Friday is the day for potatoes but it's going to be wet tomorrow. I love your shot, so colourful and inviting, what a shame it was so cold.
Love this...such a great neighborhood feeling to it. Glad you at least got a nice day. Watched the TODAY show today (from NYC) and it still looked very cold there. I have been there this time of year and it was quite pleasant. You just never know. Next week it could be 80 degrees.
You really covered the city in your short time. Love the trees lining the sidewalk in this shot. On a warmer day I could spend hours going through those books.
I have an Olympus Pen-5 Matt. One of the compact cameras that are a handy size but still have interchangeable lens. Much better suited to my lifestyle & love of everyday street shots.
