Some stunning appliqué work on these two very expensive chairs.
You wouldn't let the cat sleep on these would you?
I did take some photos of the tuba & some of the sea at Clevelys but didn't like any of them so a filler today.
We went to see Christmas with the Coopers this afternoon.....a two out of ten so don't bother!
Three good things:
1. A good chat to my friend after her holiday in Australia.
2. A three course meal for £9.50, extra for glass of wine! Great value & delicious food.
3. Quite nice tuba playing this morning!
Thats a good picture to see - the chairs look comfortable and elegant but the upholstery is the star here! So the tuba is somewhere in the house! It does have a nice mellow sound when you are not too close!
@maggiemae It was t too bad maggiemae but to be honest I don't reckon he's much of a player....more show I think! He's the most high maintenance B&B I have had in for a long time!
What amazing craftsmanship. This is when a dog should most definitely not be allowed on furniture, and to be honest I am not sure I would be comfortable sitting on one. They are very beautiful
This is a first for me..........I've never seen a chair done in applique. So much work has been done on them that I would hesitate to use them for fear some of the stitching would come loose.
Great craftsmanship in design , colour coordination and they look comfortable -- love the tonal colours in the "little houses" one . Costly !! and I am sure Alfie would really appreciate a sleep on one of these !!
