A bit stuck for a photo today, I didn't like the ones I took this morning.
I don't like posting photos I don't like so here is one I just love!
Our little Finn engrossed in the television when they visited last summer.
Of course he is six months older now, a big boy of two.
Really looking forward to seeing him & his big brother Max in three weeks time.
Three good things:
1. A friend told me a really funny story in Garstang this morning, much laughing!
2. I went in our village post office this morning, Lorraine's last day as it's moving to the newsagents. Just glad we will still have a post office.
3. Sent off a big bag of sweets plus birthday cards to the twin grandchildren in NZ ready for their birthday early next month.
So you're not going to share that really funny story, then?! (I'd tell one of my {clean} Suffolk jokes but you have to come from Suffolk to understand the humour! Finn has a lovely cosy corner.
@quietpurplehaze Well it's not rude Hazel but I thought best not!
Oh go on then....my friend used to live in the Isle of Man & she told me that she had a habit of not putting the light on in the night when she got up to go to the loo. She would grope her way around so she wouldn't wake her husband up. One night she got as far as the toilet & just about to sit down when these two hands stretched out a grabbed her round the waist...the husband was there before her! He said I thought I had better be quick before he got weed on...she nearly jumped out of her skin as you cam imagine! We did laugh & itvwasxrhecway she told it!
Thank goodness it was only the husband and not an intruder!!!!!
(I have tape recording of my paternal grandfather telling a (non-rude) Suffolk joke. It's best done in a Suffolk accent such as he had. We played it to some friends who are not from Suffolk and their faces were just deadpan at the end....)
Thank you all very much for taking the time to comment & sorry for the mass reply.
I am trying to limit my time on my iPad as for the last two months I have had a stiff neck & am pretty sure it's with bending my head down too much every night lookin at my iPad. Has anyone else had this problem I wonder?
Will ses how it goes for a day oration with less iPad work.
@maggiemae thanks Maggiemae tv is a pretty mesmerising thing when you are eighteen months old! I love his little profile!
Everything about that photo is just delightful, the colours, the pose and all the lovely photos on your windowsill.......but best of all the fact you will see him soon!!
Ha, great shot. Kids do seem to get so absorbed in what they're watching they become oblivious to everything around them. This shot certainly shows Finn's concentration.
This is such a priceless photo of your little Finn. He looks so precious sitting there in that cozy chair. Wonderful sunlight on his sweet face and golden hair. I know you are counting the days until you are off to see Finn, Max, and family!!
