I have since checked back & I was in Kirkby Lonsdale on the date I took this, hooray for 365 diary!
Forgive me if I don't comment quite as much at the moment. I have had a very stiff neck for quite a while now & I have come to the conclusion it's the way I use my iPad every night.
I tend to look down on it while it's on my knee which is in turn making my neck stiff & making my head ache. Worse in bed at night & it's keeping me from sleeping.
Just checked back on my 365 diary & I had the stiff neck on the 18th December so haven't been right since then!
I feel I should give it a good chance to get better so plan to rest up a bit.
Please don't feel you have to comment on mine in return while I am doing the minimal.
Three good things:
1. A warm wheat bag on my neck.
2. Income tax sorted for another year.
3. Taxi booked for our holiday.
Great shot - they all look so interesting!! I love rummaging in button boxes. Hope your neck feels better soon. You might need a neck massage to help loosen your muscles. It is very important to sit in the correct position when using a computer. The screen should be on your eye level. They were always checking everyone out at work - Health and Safety !!
@pamknowler You're right Pam & I have been trying to keep the screen up but an iPad is slightly different from a proper screen....you get lazy & put it on your knee when sitting by the fire. I know it's that causing it so its in my hands! Cathy mentioned having a massage too, if it's no better by weekend I will go.
A super lot of interesting buttons ! When I read button bow --I assumed it was yours !! A far cry from the higgle de piggle de mess of mine !! Why I keep my rather big box of buttons I do not know !! Rest your neck Pat , giving it gentle exercises ! , wheat bag can be so comforting , and I should go for a massage it my a help a lot or purchase a tens machine - I found it gave relief to my neck pains -- whatever you do --you want it right for your hols !!
Buttons aint what they used to be! I would find it hard to use a square button! I don't think its the way you are looking at your iPad - you have a neck inflammation due to an injury or bug. I did read that alternating a warm wheat bag with an ice bag is good for inflammation!

Look after your neck. I have problems with my neck, but that is usually with carrying my camera. You may have a trapped nerve. Rest is the only way.
what beautiful buttons. I love the square ones. I usually get a stiff back from leaning over my lap top. all sorts of new injuries now with all our devices. I often wonder if we will evolve with larger thumbs to use on the phone. :)
