Cooked five breakfasts, changed two beds, cleaned two bathrooms & tidied third bedroom. Cleared up breakfast things, ironed all the backlog of washing including 20 pillowcases, watched odd bits of Australian Tennis Open & chatted to the builder about the leaking roof.
Sorry Harry caught you with your mouth open!
All ready for next B&B tonight, three in, one in each bedroom.
The only photo I have taken today!
A sad day for us in the UK after the death of Sir Terry Wogan....a great journalistic career in radio & television.
Three good things:
1. Sitting in my chair well pleased with myself!
2. I cleaned the tray of the bird table, all the seed was sprouting!
3. I bought some mealworms for the birds but only Ginger has noticed them up to now!!
A lovely warm and homely shot Pat , and what a busy morning (I envy your energy !!) No wonder you sat in your chair feeling pleased with your self -- and so you should . I hope your afternoon and evening will be peaceful and relaxing !
I gave up watching Andy - I presume from your comments that he lost! I can see your good ironing machine there! You must have good cupboards to put that away! Lovely homely shot!
Wow that was a whirlwind of a day.....you'll be needing a holiday soon.
What we would have missed without Terry Wogan! So many tributes and memories. And tough day for Andy Murray. ....but he'll have a life change soon when the new baby arrives.
Count down on Pat!
@maggiemae I ga pave up watching several times, sometimes I think he does better if I don't watch!! I have a linen room for all the bedding Maggiemae, well a very small one under the eaves.
wow, such a busy day, you are wearing me out just reading this.
Sad day indeed. I used to love watching and listening to Terry Wogan. All the good guys are going, first David Bowie, then Alan Rickman and now Terry Wogan.
What a huge pile of jobs to get through Pat. Very satisfying when you get to the end though. You deserve to relax in your chair. Bone scan today as the treatment I'm on can give me osteoporosis. So sad about Terry Wogan he was a wonderful man with a great sense of humour and a huge talent.
@thistle My sister had a bone scan & she has to take medication for osteoporosis, better be safe than sorry! If it's not one thing it's another! Hope it went as well as you hope!

Nice warming home shot.
