Handbags are the 'must have' treat for some & these ladies were having a look inside a bag with new arrivals.
I think the men folk were wondering what it was all about!
Sorry no post yesterday, I was having problems with my iPad which Jack has fixed for me!
Three good things:
1. I bought myself a new kitchen knife. I had grumbles from the son who likes cooking last year that I hadn't one decent sharp knife in my kitchen. I had to agree with him so today bought myself a Sabatier utility knife, it's fantastic!
2. I sent off the other sons chilblain cream today plus some chocolate.
3. New toothbrushes.
I am on the look out for the perfect handbag.. maybe I should come and look here. That sounds like an exciting parcel to receive .. Lovely colourful shot
I prefer not to carry a bag around - like my waist wallet - leaves my arms free (except for my camera). I hope son doesn't get confused with the chocolate and chilblain cream. I almost used an unmentionable cream for toothpaste once!
@maggiemae oh dear I seemed to remember reading about that! I am not a bag person either maggie & the older I get the less stuff I want to carry around! Saying that I just bought a lovely bucket bag in the sale for when I go to Ireland. I will have my kindle, camera etc all to hand while traveling across to Ireland.
@happypat No that event was hair conditioner that I used for toothpaste, Pat! This fortunately didn't happen but I picked it up to use it! Can't be trusted!
Wow, I would never have expected a handbag frenzy. Not big on handbags myself. It takes me ages to find a new one when mine has died. I am with you and @jmj Jennifer though, I will be in the book shop.
I like to see a nice bag BUT I am not a bag lady !! Like Babs when my hand bag "dies" -- I find it difficult to find another that suits me !! I have a couple but not a different one for each occasion !!
@onewing@beryl Same here girls, you can get find of a bag & ifyou have a neutral looking colour you can take the same one anywhere, lighter colour for summer & black for winter & bobs your uncle! My difficulty is that sometimes I want room enough for camera & other times not!
