We have been in Hawkshead in the Lake District all day visiting our daughter & SIL who are on a weeks holiday in their family holiday house.
We were supposed to be going to the local show but it was cancelled because of the rain.
Never mind we had a real lazy day, a walk first then sat in the garden in the sun.
After a light lunch the men went & had a bowl while Cathy & I looked at the shops.
We all had a few games of bowls before supper, I had almost forgotten my technique but improved as I went on!
We are about to set off home now, we have to put Ginger to bed & feed Bramble....Harry is on pet duty for the neighbours!
Probably too late to comment on yours when I get home but will look at your shots.
You can see Garth here handing in the bowling green key.
I have titled this the hooverer so I hope you can see him!!
I might add three good things when I get home!!
Looks so pretty and tidy there Pat . Amazingly my eyes were drawn straight away , and found it rather funny to see him hovering in the little Ice cream shop -- he must have spilt his 100s and 1000s !! lol !!
Great scene! Everything is so quaint and clean with an air of courtliness!
And the man with a Hoover made it perfect. A good man like that is hard to find!
Just got home & thank you for all your comments. We had a lovely hot sunny day but the damage of the field with yesterday's rain was just too much.
