It's a dogs life!

Even if the adults might be short of space on a canal boat I think this dog looked very content indeed!

Three good things:
1. The Cartford Inn which is our local has won the trophy for the best British Inn! Aren't we lucky!!
2. Local shops.
3. My cinema friend is back from her holiday!

That dog is very good for not jumping off the boat and exploring! Actually this sort of life appeals to me - not forever but for a holiday! A bit like our caravan. I really like the dappled light here and the water reflections!

@maggiemae He wasnt tied up Maggie I looked! Very content & there was no barking. I would think you & John would quite enjoy this lifestyle as you like popping about the world. I think it's because we weren't used to having holidays at all until,recently so like to be at home, well Harry does I'm a bit more up for exploring the world!

Saw a parrot in a cage on top of a narrow boat earlier this year. Seemed very happy cruising down the river. Wonderful news about your local inn.
