Teatime by happypat

Teatime

At last got time to fill the biscuit tin up this afternoon.
Not one has passed my lips!

Three good things:
1. Accounts in to the accountant at last!
2. In the mood for baking today, that doesn't happen very often!
3. A new dress shortened.
That's pure willpower Pat..they look delicious! ...mmmnnnn.....babysitting again tonight.kids all going to see Brian Cox..

I have no doubt that we would stay at your B&B if we were in your vicinity. Teatime must be delightful.

@essiesue He he Sue, I hope so! You would be very welcome too!

@jesperani Well to be honest I don't bake much either not because I don't like it but because we don't want to get fat!

they look so deliious. I can never resist eating them straight out of the oven (just to test them of course)
October 26th, 2016
Just in time for the bake-off final!
October 26th, 2016
Yummy ! You have great willpower!

And you have the smell too for more discipline not to nibble! So dresses are shorter now? John noticed in Dunedin that most of the young girls are wearing mini skirts - as he remarked "One inch below see level"
October 26th, 2016
@maggiemae no mid calf here Maggie but as I'm only 5.3 I had about an inch taken off. No mini for me! I quite like the longer length, it's slimming! You can really wear any length you like but the winter ones are all longer.

How could you resist them Pat. I wouldn't have had the willpower!
October 27th, 2016
@thistle well I did have two with my last cup of tea before bed Joyce!
October 27th, 2016
These are great favourites around here when I make them! Remember you kindly shared the recipe a few years back! They seem to have a slightly different appearance each time but always taste great! I hope you enjoy one or two before the tin is empty!
October 27th, 2016
@sarah19 yes they do vary slightly always Sallie, I think it depends how much syrup goes in!!
