Spit it out lad

Lots of ducks, swans & geese grooming themselves by the lake first thing this morning.
Harry is used to getting up at 6am so we were out first thing this morning to catch the misty morning lake at its best.
We are home again now but we've had a great little break & the weather was just wonderful.

I must thank you all for your kind comments hoping we enjoy our little holiday, I have been very lax at the commenting too but back to normal now.

Three good things:
1. A bit of Christmas shopping done.
2. Visited my brother on the way home.
3. We live in a beautiful part of the world.
So this feather came out of his mouth? A loose feather falls not far! I just made up a new and very wise saying! Don't know what it means, though! Its good that this place is just virtually up the road!

Lovely shot. One of my Nanna's sayings was "cough it up it might be a gold watch" I guess no gold watch here though. Maybe next time. ha ha.

A very handsome fellow and nicely captured. So pleased you enjoyed your little break. We're going to the Lake District ourselves for a little break on Friday. I got very behind with all aspects of 365 while the children were here at half term and now I'm desperately trying to catch up before I go away on Friday. I could happily spend all day on 365, I enjoy it so much, but sadly I have other catching up to do as well.

Love this and that the water is so clear you can see all the little pebbles and shingle under the surface!
