Elterwater, Lake District. by happypat

Elterwater, Lake District.

Love all the homemade signs in this village. We parked outside the village shop just to take some pictures, I wish now I had gone in & bought something, the least you could do when you had parked on their space!

Three good things:
1. Forty winks.
2. World snooker....well Harry thinks it's a good thing, I am slightly fed up with it!
3. I have just downloaded a sample of the latest David Baldacci book called The Fix but shall I buy it at £7.49? Is it worth the money? Decisions!
Lovely background and wonderful buildings and the signs are such fun

A rocky landscape for this historic looking village! All those chimney pots! I'm also getting fed up with watching rugby every weekend! Just read my book - that Baldacci book will be huge!

So charming!! I love the signs too. I'm not sure about duck eggs...but I'm certain I could have found a pair of wellies to my liking. :) Going to have to google Snooker. Can you reserve the Baldacci book at your local library? That's what I do when I'm uncertain about paying for the download.

Can't believe I didn't know snooker was similar to billiards. Maybe I did and just forgot. :) Sounds like an interesting competition between Selby and Higgins...
