Until we drove past in a taxi last week I knew nothing about St. Pancras railway station. I even thought it was spelt St. Pancreas! I knew it was the station you travelled to France from, had no idea it was so near my usual arrival station of Euston or anywhere near Kings Cross.
Such a beautiful archeological building & one of the great stations of the world. Next time I shall explore inside!
Taken from the taxi window so it could be a better angle!
Three good things:
1. Wikipedia for learning new things.
2. I have been to my friends mothers funeral today but it's tomorrow! Means I have sussed the way & the parking out! How many times have I got the wrong day for stuff! I never learn!
3. I am going to be a great aunt again in November.
This is the station we travel to/from. Lovely shopping parade downstairs. We've eaten a few macdonalds on the top floor waiting for our train home now!!
Such a wonderful looking building and like you I also thought it was spelt St Pancreas , and when I 1st heard of S Pancras I thought it was a hospital with a name like that !!!! ( it has that kind of look somehow !!) Ooh well we can not know everything and we are never too old to learn !

At least you were a day early and not a day late for the funeral..
