Looking west towards Blackpool. by happypat

Looking west towards Blackpool.

A beautiful day today so I actually got my camera out & took a few shots around our house.
This is our paddock in the foreground, behind me & in front & beyond that are crops of wheat & maize. You can see some big black bales of haylage in the far field.
All the fields except ours are for sale but I don't think there is much interest at the price suggested!

Three good things:
1. I have just finished a really good book called Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult, a modern version of To Kill a Mockingbird. In the light of the recent unrest in Charlottesville inthe US it is very enlightening.
2. I had time today to sit in the sun & read.
3. No B&B in tonight!
Beautiful scene! Love the trees as a frame.

#1. Jody Picault is one of my favourite authors. Do you know "Perfect Match"?

It would be a shame to see houses in this view! A special place at the moment. We had fields like this too in Auckland and after a few years all you could see were grey roofs! We left!
