Christmas hyacinth by happypat

Christmas hyacinth

Such a lovely perfume....I do love bulbs in pots during the winter.
My daughter in law’s sister gave me this pot, doesn’t take long for them to grow & flower.

I have put them in my very favourite Emma Bridgewater bowl.

Three good things:
1. Harry & I had a trip out to Boundry Mill at Colne to buy a suitcase for a friends birthday. We bought a bright yellow one.
2. We also bought a new duvet for our bed & of course I couldn’t come away without the inevitable new pillows!
3. Delicious steak & onions for our evening meal.
sounds a fabulous day Pat!!

Sounds like a good has been had, but boundary mill is a subject I avoid, the visit there has always goes on to long for me when we've been. The hyacinth is looking pretty. One observation I have though is that you image is sloping. Try straightening it, and see if you don't agree it makes a difference.

I love them too.....but didn't get any planted this year! Lovely photo.

They are certainly making a lovely show. Such a cosy image.

@gamelee Thanks Lee & you’re right The I age is not at a good angle....I usually do straighten them but I think Boundary Mill went to my head! It’s not a place we go to more that once every five years! Too far for a start!
