Couldn’t help but smile at these two small children running among the grave stones.
To them the grave yard is just a great place to play!
Three good things:
1. Our grandson NZ William & his girlfriend Erin have got engaged.
2. I’ve rested my back all day today...it was really sore in the night after all that lifting!
3. I bought a custard tart today & so far there’s only me eating it!
Great pov for this shot.. pleased to hear your back is feeling better.. look after it..
Sounds like another trip yo NZ coming up.. or perhaps a double wedding.. Congrats to William and Erin..
It wasn't a Portuguese Custard tart, was it? They are famous and need to be eaten - well lets face it - any custard tart is! Great to hear the engagement news. Lifting heavy stuff is deadly to backs!
A nice tidy cemetery here!
@maggiemae No it wasn’t a Portugese one although I have had one of those...just an plain old custard tart...it’s all gone now...Harry had the rest of it tonight. Yes good about the engagement...they are well suited, William quiet, Erin definitely not!
A great pov of that neat and well maintained grave-yard and joyous to see the two little ones enjoying the nice open space You excelled with your title today Pat !! . Good news re the engagement - - nice to have some good news ! ,
We used to live across the road from a village cemetery. Every day we and our 5 kids went there to walk, ride bikes, play, climb. Wonderful playground and if I were buried there, it would make me happy to hear children’s laughter
@jgpittenger What a great thought Jane & you’re so right.....lovely to see these two running & laughing. This graveyard is idyllic anyway, way out half way up Beacon Fell.
Sounds like another trip yo NZ coming up.. or perhaps a double wedding.. Congrats to William and Erin..
