I took a walk to the end of the drive today to post a letter.
It hurts when I walk but was good to get out on this lovely day.
Just posting really to tell you all my progress so no need to comment at all.
It’s been a much worse experience than I ever thought but am now on the right side of it so all downhill from here onwards!
I have been so touched by all your messages of encouragement & support over the last week....just what this 365 project is all about.
Harry is being a fantastic carer, keeping the b&b guests fed & house tidy....he’s in his element actually as he likes to keep busy & grass mowing has tailed off.
His cooking skills have progressed although I must say the two F’s flowers & food gifts have been in abundance.
A neighbour is bringing round fish & chips tonight so we are all sorted.
This is only a quick visit but will pop in from time to time...I am definitely looking at your photos & keeping up so might see the odd comment pop up from time to time.
You still have the eye of a photographer with this lovely apple and the curving driveway! Nice to be in your own property when you take a short walk! Harry is handling B&B's too? You must be affected if you have B&Bs and not get up to attend to them! Might even be deemed, slightly mad! - that's having them, not not getting up
@maggiemae Oh they are very regular maggie, been coming fir a long time, business men from same firm who are in sometimes once or twice a week. They are real chatty lovely guys & always have same breakfast at seven am so Harry is well used to them. They each have their own bed so can go three ir four weeks in the same sheets while I’m off the road.
I would imagine you do have regular customers who have become friends. I’m glad you are on the road to recovery and I’m glad Harry is so much help. That makes a huge difference. Take care of yourself!
What a lovely composition with that branch of ripe apples hanging down . makes me want to reach out and grab an apple ! Nice to see you appear here gain and am pleased that you are on the road to recovery -- take it easy - one day at the time Pat - I haven't posted today going down with some lurgy , feeling lousy with aches and pains and sore throat !
