I have resorted to looking back over some of my August Ireland trip photos from Cork.
I always like a tunnel with light at the other end so really liked the feel of this one.
We didn’t have a tour as none of us liked beer, if it had been Gin it might have been another story!
I’m doing much better thank you, feeling much brighter over the last three days or so, things are looking up!
Popping in occasionally not sure I will be doing much commenting partly because fo4 some reason since we got a new WiFi hub our internet has been rubbish with an upload speed of only 0.32 which is dire! I need to sort it out but can’t be bothered at the moment.
Good things:
Lots of homemade biscuits in the tin...not made by me but brought by friends & neighbours to sustain us.
I’m really hoping my wayward Aga is going to be fixed tomorrow. It’s been ailing for two years, losing heat etc. Three technicians later who have never fixed it I rang our original guy who put it in for us & who retired. I just wanted to ask his advice but hooray he’s coming out to give it a real good clean, he says they get solid & need a drill on them to get them uncoked. I have high hopes! We haven’t to breathe a word to anyone that he’s doing this one off....don’t tell anyone!!
Oh Pat, you just told the world! Sshhh! Do hope you're feeling better soon an that the aga will soon be fixed. I do lilke your light at the end of the tunnel!
A lovely tunnel leading you to the light at the end - I hope this indicates how you feeling as you are getting better ! Baah , to technology !- sorry to hear your new wifi is rubbish - so annoying and having problems with the Aga is not what you want as we approach the cold weather - hope your man will be able to fix it !!!!!!
Nice clean tilework in this tunnel. I would feel a bit funny walking there thinking about all that weight above but it would have lasted generations so must be OK! Pain about the Aga- might be as good as new after de-coking!
Great that you are feeling better.. been a long road to recovering.. 🥀.. Good to have some great Ireland photos to fall back on.. Hope you man can fix the Aga..
