Napier trousers.....why keep them for best...we might never get hot enough weather again this year!

Quite surprised it’s happened so fast after the housing market has opened up.
The estate agent gave up her Sunday morning & it was all negotiated in a couple of hours.
They looked at the very comprehensive survey the buyers from last year gave us...it didn’t put them off so we are all go.
Thinking there might be a slump at the end of the year in house prices once Boris starts trying to recoup all the money spent on Coronovirus so we are happy to get sorted so soon.
Three good things:
1. Lots of good things but we have been so blessed with good viewing weather...the house looked absolutely at its best!
2. My new kindle arrived today.
3. Cathy came with her lunch & we sat in the garden at either end if the outside table.

You had a great day! I like to wear my good clothes and not wait for an occasion. As long as I don't have to kneel on the ground. Being 'under offer' I presume means they have made an offer and its up to you to accept it?
@onewing No that’s been sold as soon as estate agents opened...another story there but we have another in sight which we are going to view & can move in straight away & alter things like kitchen etc as we feel like. It’s the location & large garden that’s important for us.
@maggiemae Yes they made an offer & we have accepted...quick sale as they are in rented & been looking for a year. Glad to get it sold before Boris starts getting his money back off us all in taxes etc!
I agree about the clothes....I’m so used to keeping stuff for best then two years later have hardly worn them....As farmers we always changed our clothes when we came back from going out into our working gear, it’s hard to change a habit. No reason why I can’t be reasonably dressed up every day now! I don’t buy fancy clothes anyway.
Congrats on the offer! Fantastic news. Hope it all goes through this time. We are wanting to move but cannot do it now until next year, so we shall have to see what the season brings. At least if our house value lowers, so will the one we want to buy!
