This is the little lane that’s almost next to our rental house. You can walk along here the back way to the village. I took this route this morning when I went to buy a paper & some milk. Just round the corner from the white houses at the end that’s where we are!
It was lovely in the sun with the blackbirds singing.
Three good things:
1. A lovely lunch out with my friend Dot....it’s so lovely sitting out in the sun.
2. The builder seems to have fathomed out the plan for the vaulted ceiling....he looked happier tonight.
3. On the last bit of my book...American Dust. A very eye opening book about Mexican migrants & drug cartels. I’ve enjoyed it but ready for something gentler.
Looks like a nice walking trail, it’s great your village is close. I saw yesterday that the Mexican drug cartels are targeting teenagers using Tik Tok, to carry drugs for them. “Easy money”, until they get caught. 😰
Such a delightful lane for walking!
Have you read The Four Winds, by Kristin Hannah? She has a couple more that are gentler than American Dirt. The Great Alone and Firefly Lane come to mind.
