Lancaster Canal basin Garstang. by happypat

Lancaster Canal basin Garstang.

Fishermen trying their luck…..not sure what fish are in the canal but certainly not eating ones!
So many showers over the last few days….it’s quite risky thinking about taking a walk but we’ve been out with Connie two day running.
This morning Cathy & Garth took her to Clevelys on the beach…a real treat.

Three good things:
1. Garth helped Harry bring his stuff back from his sisters….only the tractor to bring back now.
2. I have some pictures up!
3. The builder has been back tonight…we had a bit of a drain problem….they were blocked up….not been used for so long they had got dry & rough inside. Hope all will be well from now on, fingers crossed!

I’m away from tomorrow for a couple of days so might be no posting!
Does look a bit gloomy. Guess it gets the Fishman out and the release if they catch a fish 🐟..
Harry will be excited to get the MF back. 🚜

Teething trouble do keep popping up after a move. Hope these are the last of yours! It does look pretty wet up there.

We've had a break from the rain which has been very pleasant, quite a bit of sun in fact.

Our drains were old too - over 60 years and blocked up recently. Turned out to be tree roots! This scene is rather nice with the buildings and the boats!

Ah....that brought back memories of our lovely stay beside the canal in July.
Rather wet up here too, though yesterday was gardening for hours. I can see what I did and there's a Robin enjoying the clear space so that's good. Enjoy your break.
