Walking past the show field this morning I could see some action around the new toilet block.
The organisers have been doing lots of updates over the last few months as of course there has been no show but all set for 16th/17th July again.
New roads & fences & gates widened.
Three good things:
1. Harry has pruned the Camelia bush.
2. I was fed up with seeing the ladders along side the garden fence so when Harry was on his walk tonight I moved them along the side of the garage! He hasn’t noticed yet!!
3. A new baby for a girl in a wheelchair!
This is fabulous! I thought it was another of Richard Lewis's stunning views of Lerwick on Shetland as his is the one just above yours. It's just as good Pat! Love your three things. Please can Harry tell me how to prune a Camelia bush, mine's just about finished.
Beaut landscape/skyscape.. exciting seeing the progress for the show grounds and you will be looking forward to it this year.
Good job to get that camelia pruned.
@busylady Well no special science Judith. It was just massively overgrown so he just shortened every branch & cleared it out from underneath so it looks tidier. Will take a photo when he’s cleared it up. Thank you for your kind comments too, much appreciated.
Men don't seem to notice much at all, I think! I could put a new shirt on and he would never remark, change the duvet cover, sweep the garage etc etc. The clouds are amazing here -mare's tails and lovely fluffy cotton ball type clouds!
@happypat Thanks Pat, I guess mine isn't quite ready for a hard prune yet, but it is leaning away from the fence a bit. Thanks for posting a pic of your camelia today.
