The first time I have managed to get near enough to the bird table & actually get a clearish shot of a bird !!
I think on the whole robins can be quite tame & this one was quite happy for me to stand reasonably near.
what a lovely bird!!! have never seen it!! looks fairy for me))
a very lovely shot too-you managed to get close but didn't forget about this composition - it's just perfect:):)
@twiddlepin Love robins too & your namesake Robin so must be quite a favourite with you !!! I only got your tongue in cheek meaning after I had written about the namesake bit !!!!
Those birds look very well catered for Pat!! And he's rewarded you with a lovely photo. Looks like a beautiful day up your way - and here actually but I only got rubbish bird shots!!
Beautiful shot, Pat. The composition is wonderful as well as that gorgeous bird. Our robins look much different than yours. I'll have to get a bird book out and take a look.
@happypat yes still looking Pat, cannot wait for your no. 365.....are you doing a year 2 ? I feel quite liberated not having to think about a picture every day...I took Ruby for a walk at dinner time 'without camera' :)
Lovely shot! Quite different than the robin's the states. Not as much red on the robin's in the states and their faces are mostly brown. Watch out for the Robins @twiddlepin speaks of. . they can be tricky. ;-)
Robins are indeed quite tame and happy, but they are all wonderful.
a very lovely shot too-you managed to get close but didn't forget about this composition - it's just perfect:):)
