Robin Redbreast. by happypat

Robin Redbreast.

The first time I have managed to get near enough to the bird table & actually get a clearish shot of a bird !!
I think on the whole robins can be quite tame & this one was quite happy for me to stand reasonably near.
Lovely shot.
Robins are indeed quite tame and happy, but they are all wonderful.

Pat, Years ago when my daughters had rabbits.... I had one that used to come and watch me clean our rabbit cages...I used to feed him by hand !

Great shot Pat! Good for you! Your robins look much different than ours. Look at all the feeders you've got going there! The birds must love you!

Beautiful colours - and I like the way the birdtable frames a bit of the landscape behind. Very clever!

Those birds look very well catered for Pat!! And he's rewarded you with a lovely photo. Looks like a beautiful day up your way - and here actually but I only got rubbish bird shots!!

Beautiful shot, Pat. The composition is wonderful as well as that gorgeous bird. Our robins look much different than yours. I'll have to get a bird book out and take a look.

@happypat yes still looking Pat, cannot wait for your no. 365.....are you doing a year 2 ? I feel quite liberated not having to think about a picture every day...I took Ruby for a walk at dinner time 'without camera' :)

Really effective composition, I agree with Jennifer about the way you've framed the landscape beyond with the bird table.

Well done for getting him to pose. He looks so fat, mind you, that maybe he just couldn't move!

Lovely shot! Quite different than the robin's the states. Not as much red on the robin's in the states and their faces are mostly brown. Watch out for the Robins @twiddlepin speaks of. . they can be tricky. ;-)
