Beech

I was looking out of my bedroom window this morning & saw the beech hedge in it's winter glory, all crunchy dry golden leaves that will hang on until the spring & then fall & be replaced by big fat new buds.

Just thought how pretty they looked in the sun !! SOOC with a slight border from Pinic.

I have one of these trees outside my breakfast room and I have tried to take pictures of it but none of them has worked as well as this. Lovely.
