Here is my husband once again. He is enjoying relaxing with a kitten at my cousin's house at the week end. He loves cats and so would have been content to sit drinking tea and chatting for a good while longer. A perfect Saturday morning occupation - especially when accompanied with fine company, good coffee, bacon rolls and croissants! I created a more permanent feel to the snap with the water colour effect, hoping that this would preserve the moment for him.
@flowerfairyann@leestevo@kategoring@gaylewood@handymaurice@tristansmum you all mentioned the processing which surprised me a bit - I do like it but I still think that perhaps it is cheating - obviously if the photo had been taken with better settings in the first instance, I would never have thought of processing. It covers the flaws! But....thank you for your kind comments. And I particularly liked the effect the processing had on the kitten.
@helenhall Helen processing is never cheating - its what photographers have always done in the dark room - but I know what you mean - we always strive to get the best straight out of camera and always should do
