Here is one from Monday, on the way back from the Peace rally. I was tempted to post it then, but resisted. Instead, I popped it on our local community facebook page with a few others from the same garden. These flowers sit at the edge of the graveyard which surrounds the Polish church in a roundabout near town. I wanted to send a note of appreciation to the gardener - whoever he or she might be. I hope it got to them as they do a marvellous job and I love to include this colourful and extravagantly planted graveyard on my route to and from town. It brings me so much pleasure.
Long work day and evening meeting today - and the camera didn't leave my pocket.
Super fav for me Helen, this is just awesome. That deep purple and your dof and it's just so lovely... How thoughtful of you to let the gardener know how special these are to you - I hope he/she got your note!
Heavenly indeed. Love the mauve bokeh background. I have lavender growing outside my bedroom window, I love the breeze that comes through late evening. Heavenly and fav!
What a fantastic and vibrant photograph Helen, it is incredible. How have I missed all of your fantastic shots all this time? I am now following to make certain that it doesn't happen again - problem solved!!
Beautifully done, Helen! Love it.
