Long day. This was taken from my earlier visit to the festival this morning. I took a walk along the river and into the town to visit the market and as I returned, things were beginning to liven up. Two boys were contemplating a ride on the helter skelter and I stopped to see if I could catch them on camera. I asked the parents if they minded me having the photo and so permission was granted.
I have made three subsequent visits today, culminating in the firework display, and inbetween we had a bbq in the garden with some neighbours. As I have volunteered for a spot of community spirited litter picking at 7 am before the crowds descend once again, I think it is time for me to rest my weary head. I am told, by my nearest and dearest, that it is ankle deep in litter throughout the park now, so it could be hard work in the morning! Good night all.
