waiting

please accept this filler for today. I was standing waiting for someone to position themselves just right in the shadows the other day, but it never happened. So I looked down and snapped, just to fill in a second or two. I rather like the textures on the paving. It was the end of an alleyway and I certainly got the feeling that there were people wondering what an earth I was doing there with my camera pointing down to the ground. So this counts as EOTB.

The shadows have not been seen since! And after graduation day, I'm still not best friends with my camera - although I have now had the sensor cleaned so will no longer spend ages in photoshop increasing the exposure on the dust affected areas and then blending the edges. Hopefully enthusiasm will soon return.
the wait is over enthusiastic kudos

I accept the filler Helen ;) it's a cool perspective and mix of textures/shadows! I'm sorry you feel like you need a break from your camera but it will return! The next beautiful thing you see and you don't have your camera, you will be bummed out that you're missing it :)

Very clever. I get lots of strange looks from people on occasion when I am taking photos in odd places. I have even had a couple of people come up to me and say "what are you doing" when they aren't too sure what I am taking a photo of, ha ha.
Hope your phojo comes back soon. just post fillers until it does.

I agree...the textures are wonderful on the paving! Terrific image! Fav! You most definitely have a strong creative and artistic nature, Helen! I feel certain your photo enthusiasm will return soon...perhaps even stronger than before. :-)

@365projectltaylor thank you - I think - although your comment could be interpreted many ways! Many thanks for looking in on my project.

@kerosene thanks for the encouragement. Actually, no matter how I feel, I always take my camera and I do a fair amount of walking so there really isn't much chance that I will be out of sorts for long. I have a few fillers up my sleeve too, so no danger of me going awol just yet!

@onewing Thank you - I have some fillers in the wings. I guess eventually we might give up being self conscious.
