As the sun disappeared behind these clouds on Sunday it created a line of fiery sky. The dark clouds were closing in and soon to deliver a downpour.
I struggle with the changing of the season as the nights draw in and the winter lurks, ready to pounce unexpectedly. We still have the fiery sun with us right now but I know that the long season ahead is not far away. And turbulence awaits.
Beautiful. As fall arrives here, we hit wind season. The wind blows constantly. I get weary of hearing the shutters squirk back and forth in their restraints and am sad that my swimming days are disappearing right before my eyes. Sigh.
That's one of the most unusual sky pictures I've seen. The colours are so beautiful. Especially the little flash of pink light coming through the top of the cloud. Gold star to you!
Drama in the sky - I cleared the garden of soft furnishings in a rush earlier as the clouds loomed but they've gone again so I suppose I should go out with the watering can instead!
Also I'm not a winter person either but have been distinctly helped by 365 through the winter months - always looking for photo ops in the fog and rain.
Love the light in this shot. We have officially left winter behind here and find that this project helps me find the beauty in all seasons and conditions. Having said that, it does not get too cold and miserable where I live.
phew...me atheist could go religious on this!
