On return from our visit to the Welsh hills the evening sunshine arrived andit would have been criminal not to go out and take advantage of the fine weather. We left Dad behind to recover, the youngsters went in search of a pub to watch the Liverpool match and that left myself and my husband to repeat one of my regular child hood walks round the back of the village on a circuit affectionately known locally as little Switzerland. The light was absolutely charming. However, on our last leg the density of housing and unkempt high hedges did not afford me the best shots of the sun setting over the Cheshire plain. How frustrating!
@kerosene thank you Caroline. Acutually, when I got home I took a few from the bedroom window that I was pleased with in the end and may appear later :)
@365projectltaylor well thank you so much. I am not always mad on sunsets but the layers of the hills beyond the Cheshire plain in the setting sun can be a wonderful sight.
@fotoblah We are quite a way off from the seashore, and just back over the wrong side (depending how you look at it) of the Welsh border here. Still a land of which I am very fond.
@shylaine3304@gaylewood how I love to travel and see the different landscapes that our different homes have to offer. But maybe the land that we grew up in and failed to appreciate at the time has the greatest pull? Look me up if you travel this way!!
