All black and blue

I got some shots of varying interest today as I went off walking to an area of town that I don't usually frequent and pondering about the artist challenge that I just set. You will find the challenge here:

For the time being, I will make do with posting this. I have been enjoying today's sky and I thought it was pretty baby blue and certainly the chimney was a little askew too.

Interesting skyline that this building has. Its chimneys look so strong but are probably not used nowadays!

@taffy just the end of a house where the one next to it has been demolished. This isn't really connected to the artist challenge - only in that I was scouting for material in this area. See today's post for what I came up with as a best effort so far! Thanks for the comment Taffy.
