My student survival kit by helenhall

My student survival kit

When I left home at 18, I was a very picky eater with scant cooking skills. However, I was soon knocked out of my unsustainable eating preferences and taught all I needed to know about cooking by my boyfriend at the time. His basic rule was, any protein just needed to be combined with pepper, tomatoes, onion and mushrooms to create a tasty meal.

Sure enough, a few decades later, I open my fridge door this morning in search of red, and these items came readily to hand.

Convenient, as today is red day. (I could have posted red four times over today. Pity I can't save the leftovers for next week).
useful boyfriend :)

All fresh and good to eat and probably staples in lots of homes. Super focus and a great capture of the red Helen.

I agree with the inclusions of these three items - with meat, cheese, veggies etc. Lovely glossiness!

Pictures of fresh veg always look lovely. Guess its because I'm a vegetarian!

Handy to have good eating habits! I realized I would cheat with rainbow month, taking 4-5 photos per color at the same time!

All essential foods, especially the capsicum. I seem to put capsicum in just about every meal I make.
