Casks at the Welly

These casks were in the back yard of The Wellington Arms. The best free house in Bedford and affectionately known as The Welly. I took a wonder over there at lunch time since my son has put an offer on a flat directly opposite the pub. He is struggling to find something within his budget that will enable him to walk to the railway station in the mornings.

Fancied a bit of a play with this, hence the processed look, although it would have worked perfectly well without.
I like your processing. It adds lots of textures.

Nice processing. Hope your son manages to buy the flat he is looking for.

Best wishes to your son as he home-hunts. I'm sure his persistence will pay off. I like the way you've processed this- nicely done!

So many empty kegs! Or maybe they are full? Hope your son gets some accomodation. It is so hard for young ones everywhere.

@summerfield i'm rather partial to amontillado. Alas, these are most definitely beer casks. And if you want real ale in Bedford, this is the pub to frequent.
@olivetreeann thank you Ann. He has had his offer accepted, so lets hope the pub will not be too disruptive across the way.
@365projectorgjenfurj thank you. It looks like he will be buying the place across the way from all the beer barrels!
@kwind @moonmtn thank you both, indeed.
@onewing thanks Babs. I hope this is the right one for him. He doesn't communicate much, and my opinion is NOT required! But it is central and not too far to walk to the railway station, which is good.
