These casks were in the back yard of The Wellington Arms. The best free house in Bedford and affectionately known as The Welly. I took a wonder over there at lunch time since my son has put an offer on a flat directly opposite the pub. He is struggling to find something within his budget that will enable him to walk to the railway station in the mornings.
Fancied a bit of a play with this, hence the processed look, although it would have worked perfectly well without.
@summerfield i'm rather partial to amontillado. Alas, these are most definitely beer casks. And if you want real ale in Bedford, this is the pub to frequent. @olivetreeann thank you Ann. He has had his offer accepted, so lets hope the pub will not be too disruptive across the way. @365projectorgjenfurj thank you.
