Artists Interpretation

The artists interpretation of a building frequently bears little resemblance to the finished article.

And so it is with my Artist's impression of the Park Inn Bedford, which has to be one of the ugliest buildings in the town and sits right by the town bridge.

All I had time for today.
Wonderful abstract! I like the patterns and tones.

You've turned it into a wonderful abstract and half/half image!

Massive improvement on realistic representations. Googled it, found this line starting the featured TripAdvisor review: "Attempts at Scandinavian style backfire in a cramped and rather faded environment."

Well you have managed to turn one of the ugliest buildings in town into something very pleasing to look at! And sometimes time constraints bring out the best of our creativity. Well done!

Very nice abstract. I'd like a linen scarf printed with this motif please!

@kwind @moonmtn @taffy @jerome many thanks to each of you for the lovely comments
@fotoblah I hope you didn't find the report of how a German visiting digniatory was shot dead in the lobby of this hotel. That description just about fits the interior which is far superior to the exterior.
@olivetreeann Ann, sometimes the creativity comes t times of constraint I agree (but only sometimes!)
