Today has been all about house work. For 12 hours I laboured, in a desperate attempt to make up for the complete lack of attention to maintaining a clean and tidy house in weeks gone by. At the end of 12 hours, I had covered 8000 steps on my fitbit, without even leaving the house. Not only do my guests from Japan have a bed, a wardrobe, a dressing and bedside table, but the house is now clean in preparation for arrival in the morning. Some red wine and a rather delicious espresso cocktail later ( in celebration of a friends birthday), I am ready for bed.
So, I present to you, razor wire, Bedford. Best viewed on black.
It may be Sunday before I am back to view and upload again, so have a great weekend everyone, and I'll catch up with you soon.
Love it! And your story! Since discovering 365, my house has been neglected. Good for you and your Fitbit! Double benefit...clean home and all those steps! Company is coming! Fav.
Great narrative -- 8000 steps without leaving your house is quite impressive...do you hire out? Have fun with your visitors - you chose an intriguing photo to leave us with over the weekend.
Another fab abstract Helen.. your imagination knows no bounds.. love the colours, which belie the nastiness of this horrid stuff..
hope you have the best week-end..
twelve hours??? i do hope your japanese guests, and your fitbit, will appreciate your labours (weirdly enough i just bought myself one yesterday, and i now realise that housework is the way forward ...) rather like @gardenfolk, i blame my unclean house on 365. really like this abstract - fab processing and an ideal subject
Interesting abstract. You are very creative. Hope you enjoy your time with your guests. Sounds like you have gone the extra mile to make their stay comfortable
What a wonderful abstract! I can completely relate to the steps that housework creates. Our house is a strangely shaped "H" with a "T" stuck perpendicularly to one of the legs. Everything has travel down immense hallways to go anywhere.
@gardenfolk thank you for your comment. I blame 365 for the household neglect too. It was good to have it looking clean and tidy - if just for a couple of days! @taffy no we don't hire out, but had a very special friend visitin and the house was suffering from 365 induced neglect. @moonmtn I have doctored the image a little which changed the colours. It really is not attractive, but interesting patterns. @jorlam thank you Jorlam. Your comments are always welcome. The weekend went very well thank you. @gaylewood thanks Gayle. It isn't really pretty which ever way you look at it. @pistache Clare - housework is not the most enjoyable way to feed your fitbit, but if you have a sedentary job, like me, it is quite revealing to realise what difference it makes to be moving around a bit through the day. Good luck with yours. Thanks for the comment and observations @adayinmallacoota we had a great time, and I now have a finished guest room. Thanks for your comment. @wag864 yes, it has been the same for me. The camera is much more demanding of attention. @wenser unfortunately the colours are false, I put the image through a bit of cross processing to get this result - but who wants to look at razor wire? @haskar thank you - your comments much appreciated @evalieutionspics thanks for the enthusiasm. I suspect you have more mileage potential in your house, my approach to housework is deliberately inefficient - I prefer to have some exercise even if it has to be indoors! @kjarn thank you Kathy. We did.
hope you have the best week-end..

I hope the red colour is not your blood, because razor blades can be deadly sharp.
