For just one minute, this leaf was illuminated as the sun rays briefly reached out between two grey clouds.
It was enough to catch my eye and cause delight in the colour and shape of the edge of the leaf.
It is so often the simple things that please the most.
I am back late from the pre-view of an exhibition - 'Palestine - Thoughts and Reflections'. I am immensely privileged to be showcasing some of my work from my trip there earlier this year. Some tremendous works of art on display. I did take a photo, but it amounts to nothing and was on my phone which is now battery dead. Hope to get some catch up time tomorrow night.
I love the simplicity of this shot, the colours are beautiful, well spotted.
So glad that some of your photos are being shown in the exhibition. How exciting for you. I hope they make people think about the dreadful situation in Palestine.
You are very busy at the moment - congratulations on being included in the exhibition. I do like the curves, lines and colour on your leaf - really effective.
