I'm trying hard to follow the One Week only prompts, but sticking to my backlog which needs sorting. Today turns out to be too challenging. The task was to use long exposure. This, is the longest exposure photograph I took - a hand held 1/20. So it is all I can offer.
I was unable to resist a bit of experimentation today. Firstly I discovered that 4 seconds seems to be the absolute max for my camera. Secondly I rediscovered the S setting so that I can force the 4 seconds. I have no idea how that can be of any use in the day time but on my way home from work I was able to produce light trails and create some light patterns with ICM. Fun - but disastrous results - lots of trails with missing vehicles. Something for me to revisit and practice.
I've removed the owo tag since it really doesn't meet the spec so if you want a laugh...I posted today's efforts in my extras album.
When I think of NY, I think of smoke in the streets, so this pic is very recognizable to me. I like the vague colors, the yellow of the cab for example. I'll now check out the rest for a laugh ;-)
