A couple of weeks before Christmas, my eldest son moved out after an extended easing of himself into the flat he purchased near the town centre. Now, he pops round and maybe even stays over as a visitor when we can make time for each other. Saturday was such an occasion , the three of us dined on sea bass from the local fishmonger, and then went to see Molly's game at the cinema.
I realised then, thinking ahead to week two of the 52 week challenge, how much more effort I put into balancing colours when cooking, than I do when composing a photograph. So my first response to the challenge is to photograph my mix of reds and greens that went into the meal.
I will try to come back to this theme at least once through the week, but was unable to find anything to work with on my travels to and from work today - on a dull, damp, grey wintery day when everything seemed to be without colour.

thank you all for your enthusiasm for my culinary skills. Of course, if I had known I might take a photograph of the finished result, I might not have used up the lemon that had previously been attacked by a zester! I can confirm that the results were very tasty. I hope I can remember what I did next time. @suzanne234 very easy - and doesn't take long to cook.
Balancing colours when cooking... yes I pay a lot of attention to that too.. yet when it comes to taking photos colour is largely invisible to me! Odd! This shot looks good enough to eat! :-)
