Took a mini trip out this afternoon, to find some new photographic inspiration. We have a cluster of snowdrops in our front garden, but try as I might, I can not get a composition that works to get a decent capture.
I took to Moggerhanger park - a stately house with a patch of woodland which is free to roam for visitors. Some strong winter sunlight gave life to the woodland, although I still needed to look hard before finding the inspiration.
Just as I was beginning to get in the mood - so to speak - I realised I didn't have my phone on me. Thinking it had fallen out of my pocket/bag with all the kneeling down and getting up again, I searched the woodland to no avail and then returned home.
The usual pattern. Panic. Remorse at my carelessness. Stress levels shooting up. Then my husband takes over. Within minutes, the phone is located.
At least I got a few photos before being distracted.
Beautiful Helen Fav. I am glad you found your phone and I know the feeling because I realised when I was out that my phone was missing and I hoped it would be at home and fortunately it was
Snowdrops are so pretty and this is a nice shot of them. Glad the missing phone was recovered too. You're not alone. Jeff is constantly misplacing his.
You obviously have the app "Find my phone" Glad to know it works! Don't you want to kick yourself when this happens!
Lovely pearly lustre in these tiny flowers!
I love snowdrops, they are such delicate looking but hardy flowers. Glad you found your phone. I lose mine quite often even at home and all I have to do is ring the number from either my landline or David's mobile and then I can locate it.
Haha, glad you found the phone!
