Who can resist a bit of ICM when in woodland with tall thin trees stretching into the distance?
Not me.
it is all a bit trial and error - but I took the advice of the resident expert at hand (after all -with the pupil teacher ratio of 1:2, one can afford to ask the odd question) and slowed down the shutter speed to around 1 second hand held, in order to have more control of the blurring effect and linger long enough at the start, for the ground to be significantly present in the composition. I was happy that this had worked here.
Post script .. my exif says 1/10 of a second .. so either i wasnt listening or this was one of my earlier shots. Need to experiment more but this is still my most successful of the morning.
