33, bird song

Back to the early morning walk today. The leaf cover on the trees is getting thicker and already it is difficult to find where the bird song is coming from.

I had some success and traced both the wren from its song, and a greater spotted woodpecker from its tapping, but the robin was the only one that stayed in one place long enough for me to find with the camera.
Wonderful capture and beautifully framed.

I used to love seeing robins in the garden when we lived in the UK. We even had one family nesting in our shed and had to keep the shed door open for weeks until they left.

Good find! Such a sweet-looking feathered friend. Bird song is a real gift, isn't it? It has the incredible power to lift one's spirit instantly!
