New Formula One Team Relaxes Ahead Of The Cambridge Grand Prix

It is the last day of our Peruvian student, Oscar's stay with us, so I took the boys, plus one of Will's friends, to the go-karting track. Anglo-Peruvian relations were a little strained after the first session, as the supervisors put Oscar, who is 16, in a junior kart, while Ed, who has only just turned 15 but is a good foot taller, in an adult kart. Poor Oscar was not impressed. But we soon sorted things out. He was promoted to an adult kart for the second session and was able to race Ed on equal terms!

Sorry for getting so behind with looking at everyone else's photos lately. Life is getting in the way again!
As long as they had a good time..in the end! That is a serious warning sign, not easily missed.

Best laid plans eh?! At least you sorted it out for race 2. Does Ed get to go to deepest Peru?

@mole yes, I did think of asking if he was keeping any marmalade sandwiches about his person but I thought that might confuse the poor boy!

Helen— Empathize and sympathize with you! In your profile you describe this project as "worryingly addictive." Amen to that. And to the sentiments above: "so behind with looking at everyone else's photos" and life "getting in the way again!" Spot on! But this is how we get better, right!?!

If you get a "grown-up camera," watch the disk space on your computer! I'm having to scramble for an external hard drive (1.5Tb) now that I have filled up my 225Gb hard drive!
