In the top ten off all-time most fabulous special deliveries, babies obviously have the Number One Spot all sewn up (perhaps not the most well-chosen turn of phrase there, ouch!).
But in second position, I'd vote for a lovely big box of advance copies of a shiny new book due for publication next week.
Three good things
1. That lovely psychedelic orange on the book cover might stop the supercar putting girl readers off picking up the book!
2. Will's football match this evening, a nail-biting 2-2 draw, away at St Ives. Will pulled off some spectacular saves, earning praise from the opposition coaches. Not so good, he's complaining that his "hips keep dislocating" so I think it may be time for another doctors' appointment.
3. The sun is still shining! Primroses, cowslips and wood anemones all going mad.
