275 - Off on my travels to see my eldest daughter and her family, so a train to London and then another out to High Wycombe. One place that is being transformed is Kings Cross railway station.
This is a totally new section of the station with shops, refreshments and a variety of other facilities. I love the roof of this wonderful building.
Not sure how much time I will have to comment over the next few days, so I apologise in advance if I don't comment on your shots - I will catch up when I get home. My grandson has far too much planned to keep me busy while I'm here!
Thank you Tony - you are correct, St Pancras is just across the road from Kings Cross. I included a shot of St Pancras earlier in the year - http://365project.org/if1/365/2012-06-27
Thank you Therese - there is a passenger trolley half way into the wall in this new part of the building near a 9 3/4 platform sign - and a queue of people waiting to take each others photos with it!
Thank you Roslyn - this is the side of the original building, the area in front of the station is to be developed as a public open space. The whole area is being transformed.
