In view of my forthcoming cycling holiday, I decided that it was time that I got my little butt onto my bike and get some miles in the saddle or my holiday won't be much fun. It was a beautiful day and I managed to squeeze in 60 km, cycling from Ballater up to Gairnshiel Lodge (on left of picture), and then onwards to Balmoral, Dinnet and home. The head winds on the way home tried hard to demoralise me, but I made it back, although a little tired- it's hilly out there!
