It is the tree that is the attraction. There is another tree just up the road that has been very popular with photographers - especially wedding photographers - as the view of the tree and the Glasshouse mountains is a wonderful backdrop. Recently people were stopped from going into the paddock - and I guess they just went along the road and used this tree instead. Looks like they are stopped again!
There was a wonderful over-sized Adirondack Chair with a place to pull over not too far from my house here. When we first moved into the area it was a great place to stop for photos because it overlooked a beautiful valley. I hadn't gone for years and discovered it had fallen victim to graffiti; then a month ago, I was hoping to take another photo of it again and it was gone! It was privately owned and people just ruined it. So I can see why these folks felt compelled to rope off their trees- most people do not respect property the way they really should. But the sign here really catches the eye.
