New Year's Dawn

We were out looking for early morning shots with my dear husband driving and came past this lake. "Stop!" I cried. (I bet you all know that cry.) This is SOCC other than water mark.

Almost looks like Sutton Lake. If it is, we need to go there on some evening when we have a full moom. I "went-a-hunting" for a good moon shot one night and there were some great ones at Sutton but accessing a spot that wasn't on the road or in the bushes wasn't easy. Never posted one from there.

This is beautiful Jane. We have Rhody Mountain (if that's it's name) that blocks the sunrise for us.
