This park is an easy walk from my office in Eugene and is always nice but in the Spring is stunning. It has just begun but I couldn't wait any longer to begin capturing it. I'd love any ideas people have re getting an angle that doesn't cut off the top of tall trees. Stepping back didn't seem to work well
I keep forgetting that Hendricks Park is there ... it's a peaceful place and has some beautiful views of the city from there. I love how you captured this path and how it makes me want to be walking on it. Jane, I like how you captured this ... I see the path as being the focal point and that is where my eye goes - I don't notice that the trees are cut off. I see that the path meanders into a kind of vanishing point.
@sabanford@kerristephens@mamabec@fueast thanks all. And I did aim for the path and the vanishing point as the focus just got some great input from Judith re the tree in my covered bridge photo that felt applicable here. She's such a pro at getting a feeling of depth in her photos. Learning and more learning!
