All summer I've been trying for a humming bird shot that is in focus, flying, and in its natural habitat as opposed to at the feeder. I finally got a few that I like. I'm wondering which of these two you like best?
Thanks for all the support you have given me. It sure is encouraging
I like this one better. It's more clearly in focus (I suspect that could be because of your crop on the other one), but you can also see its bill. The other one just its bill shoved so far up the flower that you couldn't see it. I think the bill helps make the shot.
Boy Jane, I think they're both great. I love the close up one and the detail you got, but I also love this one because you can see so much more. So I'd say it was a tie with me :-)
Jane, you have grown so much and your shots are terriific. How bless i am to have been to your house and spent time with you that I get a totally different perspecive of your shots and I most of them, I know where they were taken. That's pretty special for me. Please ... let's try to connect the next time you are in Seattle or I am down your way (which might be toward the end of this month). Great shot Jane!
@mamabec thanks so much, Becky. Don't think I'll be going to Seattle. My daughter and her family just moved to N.C. But I'd love to see you when you come here
