This was shot at the highest ISO my camera does in the dark from a long way away but I had to share it. Four years ago we put up this box and haven't had any takers until now but are thrilled to see this (probably) mom peaking out just past sunset waiting for food delivery while she sits on eggs.

Glad that you finally have a tenant. This has a ghostly quality. Our owl pair have been 'talking' a great deal recently. They finally got last year's fledgling to be on his/her own.
