One of the things I was really looking forward to in the mountains this weekend was the wildflowers. They would be in their glory. Luckily in the few moments yesterday that I managed to pull myself out of bed, I spied this beauty in my husband's flower bed. I took a few shots and went back to bed. I expect my photos for the next couple of days will be pretty humdrum until I get my oomph back
@cleanfreak just the flu but backpacking turned out not to be in the cards for this weekend sadly. It feels as if I wait all year for the 3-4 potential good weekends to go into the mountains...not to mention all the effort of packing. Obviously I'm having a bit of a pity party in the moment!
